The business, situated in the Piombo district in the borough of Ragusa, has 5.5 hectares of covered greenhouses, producing 20 million grafted plants and 40 million standard plants.

The plants are produced for both Italy and abroad. The nursery is characterized by the elevated sanitary conditions of the work environment, so as to guarantee assurance for our clients' future production.

For some years now Centro SEIA has widened its array of activities, building or acquiring production sites in Europe. Today we have two nurseries: Printemps du Lot, in Saint Livrade sur Lot, in the Lot and Garonne region of France, and Adria Hishtil, in Gabela in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a strategic position to serve the Balkan region.

For several years now Centro SEIA has also been a partner of the Vivaio del Lago situated in the province of Ancona.

Centro SEIA is highly specialized in the production of solanaceae (tomatoes, peppers, aubergines/eggplants) and cucurbitaceae (melons, watermelons and cucumbers).

All species can be standard and grafted and on rockwool for high-tech cultivation. Centro SEIA is characterized by the use of studied, patented containers in order to guarantee the best rooting of the plants and to reduce to the minimum any microlesions to the roots that cause stress and so the risk of fungal and bacterial diseases.
