Centro SEIA is a leader in the production of young market garden plants.

Production, realized with avant-garde technology and methodology, is distributed throughout Europe.

For several years Centro SEIA has represented a solid point of reference for agriculturists.

At the beginning of 1999 Centro SEIA began to specialize in the production of grafted plants with applied high-level technology: greenhouses equipped for the rooting of the graft and well-equipped climatically controlled rooms for carrying out grafting.

Centro SEIA sells over 60 million seedlings every year of which 20 million are grafted, has around 250 personnel, including technicians and a specialized workforce and is able to offer a wide range of products to satisfy the clients' every demand.

The high quality of the plants and the reliability of delivery guarantee agriculturists a perfect starting point for their own cultivation, setting up all the necessary conditions for an optimal crop.

Cultivation in a Mediterranean environment, characterized by bright sunshine, guarantees excellent qualitative performance in terms of early harvest and plant productivity.

Our direct experience has taught us that in specialized horticulture the quality of the plants is at the base of a healthy successful crop. Hence there is no space for compromises in quality: we have to try for the best.
This is the philosophy that guides us when we raise seedlings for our agriculturist customers.

It is for this reason the firm is strongly orientated towards research and development, thanks to which, in the last few years, we have patented containers and substantially improved grafting techniques.
Another fundamental element for us is field assistance for our customers. 30 technicians and agents scattered throughout Italy guarantee a detailed presence so that we can discuss and resolve problems together with our customers.

1978
Centro SEIA is founded

1994
Joint venture with Hishtil Ltd is drawn up; the Israeli company, a world leader in the production of horticultural and ornamental, is an important technological partner.

1995
Production by Centro SEIA is widened over all of Italy.

1997
Commercial diffusion is extended to parts of Europe.

1999
Centro SEIA effects important investments to specialize itself in the production of grafted plants. 3.500 square metres of greenhouses are built, equipped for the rooting of seedlings.

2001
Centro SEIA begins the export of plants. Within a few years the plants of Centro SEIA are used in France, Switzerland, Holland and Germany.

2004
The development of grafted plants in Sicily brings production by Centro SEIA to more than 10 million grafted plants for the first time.

2006
Centro SEIA begins to invest abroad, to produce in different zones within Sicily and to strengthen its position abroad. Centro SEIA acquires the nursery PRINTEMPS DU LOT situated in SAINT LIVRADE SUR LOT, in the centre west of France.

2008
The ADRIA HISHTIL NURSERY is set up in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the idea of building a nursery to serve the markets of Eastern Europe. In June the project is set out for a nursery of 1.5 hectares and construction begins.
